A series of Social Action Workshops have been arranged by the Miranda Foundation within the Competencies for Professional Development in Bizkaia Programme organised by the Talentia Service of bizkaia:talent and supported by Bilbao Metropoli-30.
The aim of this scheme is to highlight the importance of upholding individual identity as a way of combatting the loss of status that affects elderly people in societies such as our own. The focus is on new concepts and fresh approaches that shed light on caring for the elderly and our collective and individual responsibility as guardians of their dignity.
The Miranda Foundation is a non-profit institution of far-reaching social importance that has been involved in charitable work for more than a hundred years. It manages a Specialised Elderly Care Centre that provides its residents and their families with customised, holistic and continuous support based on Personal Care.
