Chairman

The General Assembly held on 11 May 2026 appointed Mr Tomás Olano Uscola as Chairman.

Tomás Olano holds a degree in Law and an MBA. He is an executive with over thirty-five years’ experience in business management, strategic management and transformational leadership. He has a solid reputation within the Basque business community, with a proven ability to lead in complex situations.

He has served as Chief Executive Officer of Bergé Logística (2007–2023), founder and Sole Director of Operadora Logística de Tránsitos Internacionales (1997–2007) and Managing Director of Editorial Iparraguirre (1992–1997), amongst other senior positions.

He also currently sits on the Boards of Directors of companies such as Bergé and Talgo, and is a member of the Plenary Assembly of the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce, the General Assembly of CEBEK, and the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Fine Arts.
