International Seminar “Metropolis of the future”

The Association Bilbao Metropoli-30 organized a new edition of the International Seminar “Metropolis of the future”, which was held on March 16 2022 in Sala BBK. The Seminar addressed international initiatives linked to global urban challenges.

The event was opened by the Mayors of Bilbao and Bordeaux, Juan María Aburto and Pierre Hurmic, in a round table discussion. Then, there were four debate sessions, each of them with count with the participation of an entity associated to Bilbao Metropoli-30 and an international expert speaker, who jointly addressed various initiatives related to issues such as the circular economy, urban mobility, cultural tourism or the collective psychology of the city.
