Bilbao Metropoli 30 carries out its work fundamentally in Metropolitan Bilbao and in the international scope and its mission consists of:

Metropolitan scope:

• Promote the revitalisation process of Metropolitan Bilbao, with our partners and for our partners, through projects that contribute to the prosperity and well-being of the citizens of the metropolis.
• Promote strategic thinking about the future of our metropolis.
• Work on the development of metropolitan projects.
• To act as a catalyst for ideas and objectives in a shared transforming vision in which all our efforts converge.
• Promote and articulate the participation of civil society.
• Develop public-private collaboration initiatives oriented towards our goals.

International scope:

• Bring the most avant-garde and pioneering international thinking on urban development in the world to our metropolis.
• Generate international strategic alliances.
• Promote a community of professionals, activists, authorities and all types of urban agents from all over the world that drive and inspire urban innovation.
• Foster the exchange of knowledge and experience on innovative urban projects and initiatives.
• Recognise and celebrate urban projects from around the world for their contribution to a long-term, sustainable and collaborative vision of urban construction and for their impact in addressing the most pressing global urban challenges.
