Symposium on Andalusia’s Urban Agenda

Through its Department of the Environment and Land Planning, the regional government, the Junta of Andalusia has invited Bilbao Metropoli-30 to present its experience in the economic revitalisation of cities at a symposium on Andalusia’s Urban Agenda on 23 April.

Urban Agendas constitute an original tool for planning the future of urban areas within a complex context of profound changes in which cities are called upon to play a clear leadership role.

Andalusia, an autonomous community with a population of more than eight million people and almost 800 local councils, musters a huge potential in its urban areas. Andalusia therefore aspires to place itself at the head of this movement through the approval of its Urban Agenda.
