Queen’s University Belfast is conducting a study on best practices in the management of urban public services in situations of social conflict, such as demonstrations, racial tensions, etc. The lead researcher, Dr Joanne Murphy, a member of the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice, visits Bilbao to interview the heads of departments and services linked to the city’s political and social management.
